1. Charitable Purpose

Davis Dewberry Farm Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of neglected horses, the provision of equine-assisted therapy, and the empowerment of individuals with disabilities through agricultural and vocational training. All funds raised support the mission, programs, and operations of the organization.

2. Donations and Sponsorships

• All donations and sponsorships are voluntary and non-refundable.

• Specific designations (e.g., “Sponsor a Horse,” “Sponsor a Therapy Plan”) indicate the donor’s preference, but we reserve the right to apply funds to the area of greatest need to ensure continuity of care and program sustainability.

• Recurring donations may be modified or canceled at any time by contacting us at kdavis@davisdewberryfarm.org.

• Sponsorships and donations do not imply ownership or control over any animal or program participant.

3. Acknowledgment and Tax Deductions

• Davis Dewberry Farm Foundation, Inc. is a recognized tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

• Donors will receive written acknowledgment of contributions for tax purposes.

• Please consult your tax advisor regarding the deductibility of your contribution.

4. Privacy and Data Use

• We respect your privacy. Personal information collected through donations, sponsorships, or volunteer forms will be used solely for processing contributions, providing receipts, and sharing organizational updates if you opt in.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

• All financial transactions are encrypted and processed through secure third-party payment providers.

5. Animal Welfare and Safety

• All horses and animals residing at Davis Dewberry Farm are under the sole care and supervision of our trained staff and veterinary partners.

• Sponsors and visitors are not permitted to remove, relocate, or independently manage any animals.

• Interactions with animals during visits or volunteer events must follow farm safety guidelines and staff supervision at all times.

6. Program Participation

• Participation in equine-assisted therapy, vocational training, or volunteer activities is at your own risk.

• All participants, volunteers, and visitors must sign a Liability Waiver and Release Form before engaging in on-site activities.

• We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services or participation for safety, behavioral, or ethical reasons.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including text, images, graphics, and materials on our website, publications, or social media, are the property of Davis Dewberry Farm Foundation, Inc. and may not be reproduced or distributed without written consent.

8. Limitation of Liability

Davis Dewberry Farm Foundation, Inc. and its affiliates, officers, employees, and volunteers shall not be liable for any damages or losses arising from your use of our website, donations, sponsorships, or participation in farm activities, except as required by law.
